6 LAYER INNER FOAM AND GEL COMBINATION
The hand-made 50mm thick, 6 layer foam and gel combination give the Super pro gel 2 boxing glove the edge in safety and comfort.
Starting with the laminated air foam and 2 second air foam layers give the hand the initial slip in comfort.
Followed by the gel sheet which is sown into the foam that creates the ultimate absorbent protective layer to shield the knuckles from chances of injury while sparring or heavy bag work.
Attached to the gel sheeting there is a 10mm layer of medium density Eva memory foam that will create the shape of your fist over time and help smooth out the differences in you knuckle protrusions.
The next layer of Eva foam is a slightly softer 10mm layer to help cushion the blow to you opponent and hands, the use Eva though-out this glove is because Eva foam does not break down like injected foams or sponge foam through constant pressure from the fist pushing into it with each punch.
Eva will thin out over time but you glove will never start spitting out pieces of foam all over the gym floor like cheaper mass-produced injected foams will.
JOINTLESS WRIST FOAM
Another unique thing about the foam inside this glove is the fact that the the fist area and the wrist area are usually two separate pieces that are not joined and give that floppy wrist feeling that most boxing gloves have. The Super Pro Gel 2 is different to the average boxing glove. The two pieces are joined inside the glove which makes the wrist much more solid and supportive, so no need for heavy wrapping.
DOUBLE STRAP HOOK AND LOOP WRIST CLOSER
Below is the wrist closure with soft touch hook and loop attachment, the soft touch is a new style hook and loop system on the movable strap which out last standard velcro systems by not damaging the soft part of the material by constant attaching and pulling apart.
INSIDE WRIST CLOSER

DOUBLE WRIST STRAP
The double wrist closer shown here with cover stitching cut out and pulled back to show the strap and buckle system, which allows for the easy pull through and tightening of the wrist easily
BREATHABLE MESH IN PALM
The latest model of the Super pro gel 2 has had a high quality mesh panel added to the inside of the palm to not only hep the glove breath to keep the glove cooler internally, it also helps the glove dry out more efficiently.
The mesh palm also has the benefits of added flexibility to the palm and take the pressure off other parts of the leather palm area. The leather area of the palm which may in other standard gloves which constantly being wet with sweat which lead to a be more susceptible to weakness in the leather and a possible damaging of the leather palm.
One beautiful glove to wear and use.
Up there with the best in the world!
